WONDERFUL_TEASER1.jpg

Meg Alexander has temporarily—and reluctantly—returned to her home of Crescent Cove, California. Last time she’d been on this beach she’d called herself Starr and saw only bright skies ahead. Then tragedy struck and she’d run from all that was familiar, the happy-go-lucky girl becoming a sadder-but-wiser woman. Now family obligations have brought her back and she’s determined to make it through the month with grit and grace. She only falters when one day she looks up—and loses her breath.

Caleb McCall has never forgotten the summer he spent at Crescent Cove and the beautiful girl who’d laughed and played there. Eager for a break from his workaholic ways, he rents one of the surfside bungalows and discovers his landlady is none other than the one woman who has never faded from his memory. Clearly, though, Meg is wary and even their instant chemistry doesn’t let down her guard. But Caleb has learned there’s no time like the present to grab the opportunities life presents, so he’s willing to fight for what he wants…the total surrender of Meg’s heart.

My Review

I loved this novella! Of course, I’m not surprised. I really have fallen in love with Christie Ridgway’s writing since I read “The Secret” *sigh* This woman can really write romance.

Almost wonderful starts out with a very sad, hardened woman…Meg. Ten years before the love of her life died and she ran away from the life she knew, changed her name from Starr to Meg and built walls around her heart, never to be hurt again. So now, ten years later, because her family needs her, she returns home to Crescent Cove. This is where she meets Caleb. Watching him try to help her heal, no matter how much she turned away was so moving. The belief in fate is questioned. Caleb truly believes they were meant to be together, that it is what brought him there. I’m trying not to say too much. But Caleb is a true romantic at heart. Plus he is sexy as hell. Oh! Then there is Bitzer, I can’t forget Bitzer!!! Caleb’s dog, who plays a very big role in this story. I loved Bitzer.

There is quite a lot to this little 97 page novella. It was beautiful, touching and at times had me laughing out loud. I’m really looking forward to reading the rest of this series!!

My Review

Kyler and Faye❤️ My favorite Kennedy Boy and his girl. They were the stars of this novella, so how could I not love it?!

The Kennedys are going to Ireland! Ky and Faye spend three weeks there on their own, and then the rest of the family joins them after that. Those first three weeks are a blissful, contented time for them. They make their own memories in Faye’s home, which help her in dealing with the many memories that haunt her as she misses her parents. I LOVED when she brought Ky to her parents graves. He introduced himself to them, giving a very touching speech and ending it with “I will love her, protect her, and support her for the rest of my days. I give you my solemn promise.” It was so beautiful and so romantic!! Kyler is such a romantic guy! Who would have thought that when I first started this series with Finding Kyler, he would turn out to be a romantic?! “I will always be here for you. No matter what. My world would cease to exist if you weren’t in it, and that’s not something I’ll ever consider. I’m going to propose to you one day, Faye.” I kiss the back of her hand. “I want marriage, kids, everything, with you.” *sigh*

Anyway, I know this isn’t ONLY about Ky and Faye!! So, now they go to the airport to meet the family. “Alex is leading the posse as they step out through the sliding doors, and, honestly, it’s like watching a trailer for the latest hot boys’ movie. A quiet hush settles over the place as my cousins saunter toward the exit like bona fide movie stars.” The Kennedy Boys are in Ireland!!!!

Well, as you can imagine, the first thing the boys do is go to a party! In fact, they go to a number of parties. And these Kennedy Boys really like to stir up a lot of trouble! Kennedy Boys gone wild!! That’s all I’m gonna say!! Oh, and Faye is definitely related…she’s quite a spitfire herself!!!

This book is packed full of Kennedy adventures that you won’t want to miss!!
