I loved everything about this trilogy. The world, the characters, storyline, the heartbreak and the love. It had itโ€™s dark moments, with good reason, but it also had lighter moments full of love, friendship and laughter.

The RH part of it was so well done. I swooned so much. Itโ€™s hard to pick a favorite, but if I was forced I would pick Gage. But each guy was so wonderful in his so way and so good to Celeste.

As much as I hated the series the end, it had a satisfying and wonderful conclusion. If you love Paranormal RH and havenโ€™t checked this one out, I highly recommend you do! I hope to see more from Grace White.

โ€œWe have to go back for Lucas. Take me back, now.โ€ I grabbed at Gageโ€™s sweater, tears streaming down my face.
โ€œBreathe, little witch.โ€ He pulled me into his chest. โ€œBreathe.โ€
โ€œBut heโ€ฆ the vampiresโ€ฆโ€
โ€œLucas will be fine.โ€ His hand cupped the back of my head.
โ€œHe will?โ€ I eased out of his grip, craning my neck to see his eyes. Needing to see honesty there.
โ€œI promise.โ€
โ€œWhat was that back there?โ€ It had been a blur, but Iโ€™d seen the burst of power. Felt it before Gage got us out of there.
โ€œThat was Fae magic. The Riverbank is protected by wards, protection spells. They keep unwanted visitors out.โ€
โ€œI didnโ€™t know.โ€ I was beginning to realize I didnโ€™t know a lot of things.
โ€œYou didnโ€™t exactly come with an instruction manual, Celeste. And we didnโ€™t want to overwhelm you. Telling you about the wards didnโ€™t seem important at the time.โ€
โ€œLucas will really be okay?โ€
Gage backed up, giving me space, and ran a hand down his face. โ€œHeโ€™ll be fine. If he needed help, he would have called for it. But there is none more powerful than Lucas.โ€
My shoulders sagged with relief.
โ€œYou really care about him, donโ€™t you?โ€ Gage asked tightly.
โ€œIโ€ฆ I canโ€™t explain it. Itโ€™s like you came along and all I saw was you. My heart became yours. But then spending time with Lucas, a small part became his too.โ€
He inhaled a ragged breath and looked to the sky. I went to him, hating the distance between us. Sliding my hands up his chest, I looped my arms around his neck and demanded his attention. โ€œIt doesnโ€™t change how I feel about you, Gage.โ€
โ€œSharing is not in my nature, little witch.โ€ He smoothed his thumb down my cheek and over my bottom lip. โ€œWhen I think of you with another, I want toโ€”โ€
โ€œSsh.โ€ I silenced him with a kiss. โ€œIโ€™m not asking you to share.โ€
At least, I didnโ€™t think I was.
Lucas and I were more friends. It wasnโ€™t explosive and passionate the way it was with me and Gage, but I had felt something with him earlier. Gage broke the kiss, staring down at me. Slowly his mask of composure slid back into place and I knew this conversation was over.
For now.
โ€œWe should get moving. Once youโ€™re settled with the wolves, Iโ€™ll make sure Lucas is okay and then pay Gerard another visit. Dahlia needs to be taken care of once and for all.โ€
โ€œYouโ€™re not leaving me here!โ€ I shrieked.
โ€œItโ€™s just until things with Dahlia calm down. She wonโ€™t stop, Celeste. Not until she has what she wants.โ€
โ€œAnd what does she want Gage? Meโ€ฆ or you?โ€
He blew out an exasperated breath, rubbing his temples. โ€œCome on. The sentries have picked up our scents.โ€ Gage set off toward the bayou. Last time weโ€™d been here, we came in through the main street, but this time we were already deep in wolf territory.
We hadnโ€™t gotten twenty feet when Jaxon Gallant burst out of the trees. โ€œBloodsucker, these visits are becoming a far too regular occurrence.โ€
โ€œIs Laken around?โ€
โ€œHeโ€™s out at his cabin. Whatโ€™s this all about?โ€ Jaxon moved into Gageโ€™s space and the air around us charged with tension.ย
Fed up with being surrounded by men who insisted on treating me like nothing more than a damsel in distress, I stomped past them both and called, โ€œWhile the two of you figure out whose dick is bigger, Iโ€™m going to find Laken.โ€
Jaxon snickered while Gage rushed up beside me. โ€œWe were notโ€”โ€
โ€œSave it. Iโ€™m hungry, tired, and I donโ€™t have the energy to argue with you.โ€ย
He stepped in front of me, cutting off my route. โ€œWhy didnโ€™t you say something?โ€
I met Gageโ€™s concerned gaze and grimaced. โ€œIโ€™m fine. Come on, letโ€™s get this over with.โ€
โ€œIt must be bad if youโ€™re running here.โ€ Jaxon fell into step on my other side.ย
โ€œCeleste.โ€ Gageโ€™s voice was grave. โ€œWe should wait until we speak with Laken.โ€
โ€œMy brother doesnโ€™t keep things from me.โ€ The younger Gallant puffed out his chest.
Gage raised a brow at that. Thankfully, the dense trees began to clear, and I spotted Lakenโ€™s cabin in the distance. He was out front, shirtless, chopping wood. As we drew nearer, I could make out the ripple of his muscles as he swung the axe down, splitting the huge logs clean in half.
โ€œYouโ€™ve got a little drool,โ€ Jaxon mocked. โ€œRight there.โ€ He reached for me, but I batted his hand away, feeling my cheeks heat.
Gage growled beside me and when I slid my guilty eyes to his, I said, โ€œI canโ€™t help it. Heโ€™s right there and heโ€™s half-naked. Iโ€™d be crazy not to notice all that.โ€ I waved my hand in Lakenโ€™s direction.
I was playingโ€”for the most partโ€”but it didnโ€™t stop my jealous vampire from stalking off ahead of me.ย
โ€œThink you pissed him off.โ€ Jaxon didnโ€™t bother trying to tamp down the amusement in his voice.
โ€œHeโ€™ll get over it,โ€ I said, feeling smug to have Gage at my mercy for once.
By the time we reached Gage and Laken, they hadnโ€™t killed each other. I took that as a positive sign.
โ€œLook what the wolf dragged in.โ€ Jaxon slung his arm around my neck. โ€œGet it? Wolf?โ€ He howled with laughter, but his brother and Gage looked anything but amused.
โ€œJaxon,โ€ Laken barked. โ€œPlease remove your arm from the Regentโ€™s neck.โ€
Not Celeste.
Not even girl.
Just the Regent.
I bristled.ย
